Title: Sectors Included in the First Phase of Reopening

The National Operations Room for Disaster Management issued a detailed list outlining the sectors included in the first phase of reopening, their working hours, and the procedure for applying for permits.

According to a statement from the National Operations Room for Disaster Management reported by the National News Agency this evening, in implementation of decision No. 96/M.P. dated February 6, 2021, related to updating the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, the National Operations Room at the Grand Serail is releasing a detailed list specifying the sectors that fall under the first phase of reopening, their working hours, and the mechanism for applying for permits.

The statement emphasized the necessity of wearing masks mandatory under the threat of penalties against violators. It also announced a prohibition on exiting and accessing streets and roads starting from 5 AM on Monday, February 8, 2021, until 5 AM on Monday, February 22, 2021, with movement during this period restricted to individuals who are exempt under the decision according to the specified conditions, and to those not included in the exemption who are subject to the lockdown decision but have obtained a travel permit via the link covid.pcm.gov.lb (form for individuals subject to the lockdown decision) or by sending a text message (SMS) to number 1120.

The statement clarified that a travel permit can be obtained for individuals exempted from the complete lockdown mentioned below through covid.pcm.gov.lb (form for individuals exempted from the complete lockdown). Additionally, to obtain a work permit for the mentioned companies, one should apply through covid.pcm.gov.lb (work permit application for companies). The table displayed the sectors included in the exemption during the first phase, their work timings, and the process of applying for and obtaining movement permits.
