"Shocking" Images Reveal Lung Damage in Unvaccinated COVID-19 Patients

A doctor has revealed shocking X-ray images that show the significant difference vaccines make in protecting the body. A radiologist in Maryland released two chest X-rays to illustrate what he sees in COVID-19 patients who are unvaccinated compared to those who are vaccinated. Dr. Omar Wan, vice chair for education in the Department of Diagnostic and Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, stated, according to WCVB: "There is a significant difference in the chest X-rays we see in fully vaccinated patients who test positive for COVID-19 versus those who are unvaccinated."

Dr. Wan presented CT scan images of a vaccinated COVID-19 patient alongside images showing lung damage in an unvaccinated individual. He explained: "We can see in the vaccinated person that a lot of the lung is black, and this is a good thing because black indicates air." He further noted that "the disease burden or infection burden is much more apparent in the unvaccinated individual compared to the vaccinated person."

The doctor pointed out that the symptoms in vaccinated individuals tend to be milder than those in the unvaccinated. He said, "Often, those who are unvaccinated suffer from severe shortness of breath. They may require oxygen therapy. There is a greater tendency for them to enter the intensive care unit." He expressed hope that the images would change the minds of the unvaccinated. He added: "If you see the images, you can clearly see the evidence of how effective the vaccines are through chest X-ray examination. Oftentimes, this is more helpful visually than just hearing people repeat statistics."

It is worth mentioning that in October 2021, a physician at the Dier Valley Medical Center in Phoenix shared similar scans showing the virus's impact on the lungs of unvaccinated COVID-19 patients compared to those who received vaccinations.
