Coordination Committee of Resistance Factions: Recent Actions Will Undermine Political Agreements

The Coordination Committee of Iraqi Resistance Factions announced that the crime of targeting Popular Mobilization Forces in the recent American airstrike will be the most costly, asserting that this crime will undermine all agreements that had been accepted with some political parties.

The factions indicated that what occurred would completely eliminate all rules of engagement that were imposed by political agreements, after proving their ineffectiveness. They noted that the opportunity has become very narrow for the Iraqi government to clarify its stance regarding the repeated violations of sovereignty. The factions demanded that the government clarify its position either on the occupation or on neighboring countries that use their territories as a launch pad for aggression, and also clarify its stance on the collaborators within, who justify the crimes of the occupying forces and call for more crimes, attempting to reduce Iraq's stance to their submissive position.

The Iraqi resistance factions pointed out the existence of disappointed, fearful, and treacherous individuals who resort to generating weak justifications to legitimize the presence of the occupation. They accuse every rejecter, opponent, and resister of this abhorrent occupation. The factions highlighted that foreign forces insist on embarrassing all their supporters with actions that violate international law, thereby disregarding the minimum principles of respecting the sovereignty of states, which even the smallest of nations cannot accept.

The Iraqi factions cautioned that the government's continued negligence of these issues will lead everyone to dire consequences and demanded a clear and satisfactory explanation through a professional investigation into those cooperating with the occupation to facilitate its crimes. The Iraqi resistance factions affirmed that such heinous crimes will not go unanswered, indicating that the response to the crimes will be deterrent, and at that point, no collaborator or agent will be safe from accountability. They revealed that everything the occupation envisions as safe will be within the line of fire of the resistant forces.
