The Egyptian judiciary has resolved the dispute between singer Mohamed El-Sharnouby and producer Sara El-Tabbakh, owner of "Earth Production," which lasted for two years.
The court ultimately ruled to dismiss El-Sharnouby's complaint, in which he sought to terminate the contract dated between him and Sara El-Tabbakh, and ordered him to bear the costs. The court also confirmed in its ruling that the contract remains valid and that the plaintiff filed this case without a proper legal basis. Sara El-Tabbakh subsequently issued a statement regarding the ruling, clarifying that this lawsuit was initiated by Mohamed El-Sharnouby and that the verdict was issued based on his documents. Thus, the matter has become clear to everyone, including those who attempt to evade their obligations and seize the rights of others.
She added, "Although I previously waived his suspension by the Musicians' Syndicate, the party documenting the contract, and opened a new chapter by reconciling with him through the triadic committee in the Cinema Industry Chamber, he refused to execute the contract and turned to the judiciary, thus restraining the unions and the chamber. The fair judiciary has definitively resolved the situation, and he is left with no choice but to execute the contract in all its terms according to the court's ruling."
El-Tabbakh continued her statement, asserting that the ruling is clear, explicit, and unequivocal for the plaintiff and all involved parties because we live in a state governed by law, and everyone must respect judicial rulings. The ruling represents the truth, which is now clear in accordance with the esteemed court's decision that the contract remains valid among the parties and towards all.
She added, "As for the convictions related to misappropriation that were obtained quietly and without my notification, I confirm that I have taken legal measures to reveal this scheme, as all the judgments were issued without notifying me to attend the sessions and were all in absentia. I have taken legal actions and scheduled sessions for them because they all involve funds I received during El-Sharnouby's work and his commitment to the contract, and he received his share of them. It is unreasonable that he comes to reconcile with me in the Cinema Industry Chamber before all the esteemed artistic figures and officials responsible for the unions and artistic bodies and signs his commitment to execute the contract without mentioning that he has funds with me. Of course, I will file defamation lawsuits against him because he is trying to tarnish my reputation in front of the public, and he knows well that these are desperate attempts that will not shake me."
She concluded her remarks by saying, "The judiciary has ruled, and I informed some respectable intermediaries last month that I refuse to reconcile with him as he had not adhered previously. I stand by the court ruling, and thank God, I have been honored with victory. All companies working in the field of artistic production, advertising, telecommunications, digital applications, and event organization must comply with the court's ruling by not dealing with him except through my company, as I will sue any company that attempts to infringe on my rights."
