The Giants Brigades considered Al Nuqab, which they controlled in Al Oseilan, as a military zone. The report also confirmed renewed clashes on the southern front in Marib, while coalition aircraft supporting legitimacy in Yemen destroyed Houthi reinforcements on the front lines. The Yemeni army managed to seize several positions previously held by Houthi militia in southern Marib.
Simultaneously, the coalition announced carrying out 9 targeting operations against the Houthi militia in Marib within 24 hours, noting that these operations destroyed 7 militia vehicles and killed 55 terrorist elements. The coalition also reported executing 36 targeting operations against the militia in Shabwa during the same period, which resulted in the destruction of 23 militia vehicles and the death of 185 terrorist elements.
A military source told the Armed Forces' media center that army and resistance fighters launched a fierce attack early today, managing to liberate several sites previously occupied by Iranian-backed militia, confirming that dozens of Houthi militia elements were killed or injured, while heroes of the army captured several Houthi terrorist elements. He added that coalition aircraft actively participated in the battle, with airstrikes destroying 4 BMB vehicles belonging to the militia and 4 others equipped with 106mm guns, killing all on board.
The Giants Brigades continued their advance towards Bayhan in Shabwa province, inflicting losses on the Houthi terrorist militia with the assistance of coalition aircraft and artillery. The correspondents noted that the national army announced the defeat of the Houthi militia on the southern and western fronts of Marib, following the militia's attempts to infiltrate into positions held by legitimate forces. The national army’s artillery and coalition aircraft targeted Houthi positions and fortifications, resulting in dozens of casualties among the Houthis.
On Monday, the coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen announced that its forces carried out 12 targeting operations against the Houthi militia in Marib in the previous 24 hours. The coalition stated that these targeting operations destroyed 5 military vehicles and resulted in over 97 casualties. It also clarified that it executed 23 targeting operations against the insurgents in Shabwa on Sunday, indicating that strikes destroyed 15 military vehicles and resulted in over 133 casualties.
