Sherine Abdel Wahab's daughter embarrassed her during an interview aired on a satellite channel on New Year's Eve. This was Sherine's first interview since her divorce from Hossam Habib. During the program "Sahibat Al Saada" hosted by Esaad Younis, Sherine’s daughter, Hena, was asked about her mother's songs, to which she replied negatively, stating she usually only listens to Sherine's music when they are together.
Hena revealed that she did not know the names of her mother’s songs, prompting Sherine to respond, “She's here to make fun of me.” Hena also mentioned that her favorite song is "Kolla Ghayrana." Additionally, she explained that her friends don't know her mother's songs because they listen to Western music.
Moreover, Sherine's older daughter, Mariam, a third-year middle school student, described her mother as very kind and fond of her fans, while adding that Hena wants to become an actress because she always tries to perform.
In related news, Sherine announced her divorce in an official statement on her social media accounts at the beginning of December, stating that the reasons for the divorce "are hers alone" and emphasizing that there is "no need to discuss the details of her personal life."
She later appeared with a shaved head, which sparked much controversy regarding her mental state. In an interview with Amr Adib, she confirmed that this was not the first time she had cut her hair. She revealed that her father used to shave his head completely when he was angry or sad, and she had shaved her hair herself before seeking help from a specialist to style it.
Sherine justified her action as a punishment for herself for having wronged herself many times, stating that she needed her audience's support rather than criticism, especially as she works under challenging circumstances.
