The South African firm "New World Wealth" reported that Dubai is one of the top holiday destinations for ultra-wealthy individuals from around the world. The report confirmed that Dubai is one of the most popular destinations globally for high-net-worth individuals, alongside other global vacation spots such as London, Paris, and New York. It added that Dubai is the most popular holiday destination in the Middle East and North Africa for the ultra-wealthy, followed by Istanbul. The report noted that the "Burj Al Arab" and "One&Only Royal Mirage" hotels in Dubai are among the top four hotels frequented by the ultra-wealthy for their vacations in the region. High-net-worth individuals are defined as those possessing liquid financial assets, excluding their home, exceeding one million dollars.
