Today, Thursday, the Egyptian artist Ali Hamida passed away at the age of 73 after a battle with illness.
The late artist's brother, Ismail Hamida, revealed in his first statement that they are in the process of obtaining a burial permit and preparing for the funeral, but he indicated that they have not yet determined the burial location. Ali Hamida suffered a health setback about a month ago, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Cairo before being transferred back to his hometown in Matrouh, northwest Egypt. A large number of celebrities and fans have taken to social media to express their condolences for the late artist.
It is worth mentioning that the late artist recently broke down in tears on air due to his unstable health condition, which required him to be transferred to a hospital for treatment, but he was unable to do so due to his difficult financial situation. He noted that he visited several hospitals but was not admitted, and his health deteriorated, forcing him to return to his hometown in Marsa Matrouh to be near his family. He mentioned that he suffers from gallstones, which have caused other issues, including constipation that lasted more than ten days. He indicated that he is awaiting a medical report to decide on the necessity of undergoing surgery, stating that once the report is issued, he must be admitted to the hospital, adding that he underwent several medical tests to assess his health condition.
