Video: Asala's Husband's Romance at Riyadh Season

The husband of the artist Asala, Iraqi lyricist Hassan Faeq, displayed a romantic gesture expressing his care and love for her during the "Oasis Nights" event on Tuesday, part of the Riyadh entertainment season. A video clip showed him offering support and assistance to Asala on stage, as he climbed up to provide her with a fur cover he was wearing to keep her warm, allowing her to continue singing comfortably. The audience responded with cheers, encouraging his "romantic" approach.

Asala shone at the event in a purple dress designed by Nicola Jebran, known for his elegant and feminine designs for her. This public expression of love is not the first; weeks prior, Hassan expressed his feelings for Asala on his Instagram page, saying, "The moment we met with longing, everything hinted at love. Everyone noticed the sound of our silence between sentences and the hug as we greeted each other. It wasn’t your fault that you left the door ajar, and it wasn’t my fault that I walked in. The details are not important; I’m determined to love you in every detail."

Asala responded to his words: "You are life and everything sweet in it. Your kindness is profound, your heart is wonderful, and you are sweetness and goodness. I am grateful to the last breath for introducing me to absolute happiness, safety, and serenity. With you, I only knew that there is a heart more beautiful than mine, a higher expression than mine, and a feeling more precious than mine (not much more, just a dot and the dot is a lot)."

Asala's oldest son from her ex-husband Ayham Al-Dahabi, Khaled, expressed how much he loves Hassan: "I have never seen Asala so happy in her life as she is with you. May God keep you with us." Her daughter Sham Al-Dahabi commented, "May God protect you."

It’s notable that Asala’s marriage to Hassan is her third following her separations from her first husband, Ayham Al-Dahabi, and her second husband, director Tarek Al-Erian.

Public couples openly expressing their romance and feelings are not uncommon. The artist Ahlam often speaks of her love for her husband, businessman Mubarak Al-Hajri, who reciprocates her feelings, stating in a tweet months ago, “My dear beloved Um Fahd, every day my love for you increases in my heart.”

Other notable couples include Nicole Saba and her husband, artist Youssef Al-Khal, who are often seen together supporting each other at events; also Sherif Ramzy and his wife, retired artist Riham Ayman, who sometimes appear together at festivals to showcase their love again. Similarly, Mohamed El-Sharnouby and his wife Randa Riyad, who is the manager of artist Angham, continually support each other. They were spotted together at the premiere of "Farq Khabra," where he held her hand through the crowd.

Additionally, actress Nawal El Zoghbi and her husband Mohamed Afifi demonstrate support for each other at artistic festivals, displaying their romance as they walk down the red carpet. Recently, actress Cyrine Abdelnour appeared with her husband, Farid Rahma, who is not in the artistic field, on the "Abla Fahita" show, where she expressed her jealousy and deep love for him, even refusing to sit beside her to interact with the puppet "Fahita" as she flirted with him during the episode.
