Carole Samaha Thanks Her Fans for One Million Views on Her New Clip

The renowned artist Carole Samaha expressed her happiness over reaching one million views for her new clip "Thank You" on her official YouTube channel, thanking her followers and the clip's director, Batoul Arafa.

Carole Samaha posted on her personal Instagram page: "Thank you for one million views on the new clip on YouTube, your comments and the wonderful feedback on the work have made me happy." The artist had previously revealed in an interview about her new song "Thank You," which was released as a music video directed by Batoul Arafa, stating: "When the song was first released, it made a splash across the Arab world from the Gulf to Egypt to the Levant, trending on YouTube in most Arab countries. I am very happy that people viewed the music video in a different light, and I am preparing two songs with director Batoul Arafa."

Samaha answered a question about her absence from acting and theater by saying: "The problem is that theatrical production is limited, and theater, in general, has not been present in the Arab world as it used to be due to economic reasons, and companies are hesitant to invest in large productions. The first movie I made in my life was a Lebanese film called 'By Chance,' for which I won the Faten Hamama Award at the 36th Alexandria International Film Festival for my role in it, and now, due to Corona, things have come to a standstill."

The artist continued: "After winning the Faten Hamama Best Actress award, the next day I had a music video shoot for 'Bon Voyage.' I entered the shoot feeling happy and confident, and there was a musical theater production of Egyptian-Saudi origin that was postponed due to Corona. We had started meetings and worked on the script, and I really wanted Batoul Arafa to be with us. I see her talent in musical theater, and hopefully, once Corona is over, we will return to implement the play."
