Funeral of the Late Ahlam Al-Jeritali in the Presence of Family and Friends

The funeral of the late Egyptian artist Ahlam Al-Jeritali was held today, Monday, at the family cemetery. The funeral was attended only by family and friends, as art stars were absent from the burial and prayers for her.

The late artist's funeral saw her husband, Dr. Sherin Hassan, in deep sorrow, weeping during the burial ceremony from Al-Qubbah Al-Fidawiyyah Mosque in Abbassiya, while relatives and some friends sought to comfort him. Ahlam's sisters struggled to maintain their composure, and one of them broke down in tears as the body was laid in the grave. Those present tried to support and console her following the shock of losing her sister, Ahlam, who showed no signs of illness prior to her sudden heart attack shortly after returning home.

Ahlam Al-Jeritali passed away on Sunday at the age of 73. The Actors' Syndicate mourned her on its official Facebook account, stating, "May God rest her soul. The Actors' Syndicate mourns the passing of the esteemed artist Ahlam Al-Jeritali. May God grant her family and fans patience and solace."

Before her death, Ahlam shared a post on her personal Facebook page, expressing, "This world is strange; one day brings joy and another brings sorrow. Yesterday everyone was congratulating me on my birthday, and today everyone is offering condolences for the death of Mohamed, my sister's late husband, and the father of Wael and Reem. Glory be to God, life is a blend of sadness and joy, and in the end, it all comes down to a meter by a meter."

It is noteworthy that the late Ahlam Al-Jeritali enriched her artistic career with numerous distinguished works in cinema and television. Some of her notable films include "A Last Story for Love," "Five-Star Thieves," "Tamia with Hot Sauce," "Red Card," "Why the Sea Laughs," "Cultural Film," "If This Were a Dream," "Adam's Autumn," "Takeaway Youth," "One True,” "Good Fortune," "Sweetness of Spirit," and "Khalawis." Among her most significant television series are "A Knight Without a Horse," "The Gate of Helwan," "Judgment in Islam," "The Secret of the Land," "The Market of the Era," "Sons of Nobility," "Who Shot Hind Allam," "Imam Al-Maraghi," "Dead Heart," "Sugar Crisis," "Women’s Schemes," "Bukharest Street," "Jewish Alley," "Eagle of the South," "The Legend," "Security Status," "Ayyoub," "Sea," and "El Prince."
