Sirin Abdel Nour Talks About a Funny Incident Online

Lebanese artist Sirin Abdel Nour expressed her deep fear of the coronavirus, indicating that she has been adhering to all precautionary measures since the start of the pandemic.

In a humorous manner, Sirin tweeted: "Someone sent me a message saying my family sends their regards, I replied saying kiss them for me, then I deleted it and sent this instead, even in greetings you get confused what to say in the time of corona." Her fans interacted with her, emphasizing the importance of adherence during the virus times in Lebanon and the Arab world. Some comments included, "You are right, may we get rid of this epidemic soon and may God protect everyone," "You deserve all the love and respect," "Sirin, greet them at ease but don’t shake hands, and I advise myself first," "Send air kisses, please we need you, Sirin, we don’t want to see you sick, God forbid."

Sirin Abdel Nour also shared the lesson she learned from the coronavirus in a previous tweet, saying: "Corona taught me the value of the phrase 'God keep your health,' and that health is indeed the most important blessing." Recently, she revealed a suspicion of her father's COVID-19 infection and mentioned that a hospital in Lebanon refused to accept him despite him feeling short of breath. Sirin wrote in her tweet: "Yesterday, my father felt short of breath and went to the emergency room; they asked him to stay outside, and the reason was to protect him. The nurse told him if it's just shortness of breath, go back home and consult your doctor; consider me like your daughter, and heed my advice and don't stay in the hospital, it’s dangerous for you. The hospitals are filled with COVID patients who announced a complete lockdown."

On the artistic side, Sirin Abdel Nour is achieving a distinctive presence coinciding with the airing of her series "Dantelle" on MBC. In the series, Sirin plays the character "Mirna," who tries to face life with all her strength despite difficulties and challenges, while Mahmoud Nasr portrays the character Youssef, who insists on holding on to a love from the past without letting go of his family legacy despite all challenges. The work is written by Engy Al-Qassem and Sama Abdel Khalek, and its concept is based on a Spanish series that was previously aired on Netflix, titled "Velvet."
