During her interview with media personality Engy Anwar on the program "Masr Gedida" aired on ETC channel, actress Rania Youssef expressed her refusal to consider marriage again after three previous marriages. She believes that the concept of marriage in Arab societies is flawed, stating, "Marriage is unnecessary for me right now. I see that the concept of marriage among people is not correct, especially in Arab societies. They get married to have children, or because they don't have the freedom to engage in open relationships, which is normal in Arab communities."
She added, "Our notions of marriage are based on personal interests or families that suit each other, but the concept of a couple filled with compassion and affection with no interests other than to be happy, build a home, and raise children is very rare."
Regarding her career, she continued: "For me, work is number one and it dominates my life. I don't have time like regular women do, and not all men will understand my filming schedules and that I come home at 4 AM or 5 AM. I can stay in the studio for three days without returning home. Is there a man who can understand this, appreciate it, and respect my work and schedule? I may not have much time for him, but when I'm with someone I love, there will be quality time."
Rania Youssef also discussed her views on kissing scenes in cinema, her stance on marriage, the label of an "erotic artist," and the importance of freedom in raising her daughters. She mentioned that the era of open platforms allows viewers access to all types of works, and she has, in fact, played several bold roles, without having any red lines in acting as she considers herself a professional artist.
