The Syrian actress Jihan Abdul Azim confirmed that she has declined to participate in two projects, one Emirati and another Egyptian.
She indicated that she might return to the artistic scene after a long absence, stating: "When I decide to return, I aspire to take on a role that suits me." She added that a return is possible at any time despite the challenges she will face after such a long hiatus, especially since she previously chose to retire to focus on her family, according to the "Al-Fan" website.
It is worth mentioning that Jihan's last work was the Egyptian series "Forced Marriage" in 2015, and she is currently residing in Egypt with her husband, Egyptian writer Iyad Ibrahim. Notably, her first work was the series "Roots Do Not Die" in 1993, and she participated in the series "Retribution" in 1996. She also has two experiences in Egyptian drama, through the series "Hearts" in 2014 and "Forced Marriage" in 2015.
