Anas Karim: I am Honored to Collaborate with Nassif Zaitoun and I Don't Care About People's Opinions

The Syrian artist Anas Karim stated that he has no objection to collaborating with Nassif Zaitoun on a musical duet, expressing his desire to do so since Nassif is a "great artist with a respected name," as he described.

In an interview with "Al-Ghad Iraqi" radio, Karim explained the changes he has undergone recently, particularly regarding his weight loss, noting that he has adhered to a strict diet for over a year combined with some exercise. He emphasized that his excess weight affected his work, especially regarding his public appearance, adding: "I received many interview requests from important stations but when I saw myself, I would say no, I don't want to," indicating that this issue caused a setback in his media presence. Consequently, he decided to commit to a gym and a special diet plan.

In another context, Karim responded to the criticisms he faced after wearing earrings in the music video "Qubrus," stating that he did not care about the matter, asserting that it is a personal choice and that no one should interfere with such details. He explained: "I accept criticism of my art, but I do not accept it regarding my clothing because that is a personal matter, and I am not bothering anyone with it nor intruding on anyone's freedom."

Regarding the reason for his limited presence on social media, he attributed it to being "shy," clarifying that he prefers to engage with his audience through live broadcasts and is waiting for the right opportunity to do so. Notably, Anas Karim recently released the song "Mesh Corona" in the Egyptian dialect, with lyrics by Rashid Al Sheikh, arranged by Hadi Karim, mastered by Moayed Al Atrash, and produced by Pibly Tools.
