Egyptian artist Ahmed Zaher revealed that he did not nominate his daughter Malak to participate in the film "Fares," in which Zaher takes on the lead role for the first time in the world of cinema.
Ahmed confirmed that the film's director, Raouf Abdel Aziz, was the one who chose Malak to portray her sister's character in the film, due to the strong resemblance between them. He noted that although her role is small, he hopes her appearance will be special, wishing her success and good fortune in her work. Zaher expressed his excitement about playing the lead role in "Fares," especially since he is collaborating with writer Hossam Moussa, with whom he worked on the film "Zinzana 7," which achieved good success. He mentioned that director Raouf Abdel Aziz aimed to present a different work in every aspect, pointing out that he turned to action following the success of his recent film "Zinzana 7."
Ahmed added, "I have been training at the gym for three years and have toned my body somewhat, for myself and my health. I have always loved action, but such roles did not come my way, which is why I hadn't entered that territory until 'Zinzana 7' and then 'Fares' came along."
It is worth mentioning that "Fares" is written by Hossam Moussa, directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz, and features Ahmed Zaher, Hossam Fahmy, Iman Al-Assi, Salah Abdallah, Ahmed Safwat, Malak Ahmed Zaher, Abed Anan, Lebanese actress Pamela El Kik, and special guest Salah Abdallah. The film unfolds within a social action-thriller context, and a release date in cinemas will be announced soon.
