Expo 2020 Dubai: A Destination for Renowned Chefs

Visitors to "Expo 2020 Dubai" will have the opportunity to experience the best local and international culinary offerings in the region and the world. The event will host some of the brightest stars of cooking and the most famous global and local restaurants, several of which will open exclusively for the first time in Dubai at "Expo 2020 Dubai."

"Expo 2020 Dubai" will feature a variety of kitchens and flavors to satisfy all tastes and at prices that fit everyone’s budget, with over 200 restaurants and cafes located throughout the event site. Margan Fereidooni, the Chief Executive Officer of Visitor Experience at "Expo 2020 Dubai," stated: "One of the best ways to get to know a country is through its food, and at (Expo), visitors will be able to taste cuisine from around the globe without having to leave the UAE."

She continued: "Whether our visitors are eager to discover the latest offerings from global kitchens or want to try what excites food lovers around the world, they will find everything to satisfy their tastes at (Expo 2020 Dubai). The event attracts some of the brightest culinary stars in the world, as well as promising local restaurants eager to make their mark on the global food scene."

The list of culinary celebrities at "Expo 2020 Dubai" includes over 20 award-winning chefs representing Michelin-starred restaurants, the most prestigious global awards celebrating fine food and culinary excellence. Among them are American chef David Myers, nicknamed "The Gypsy Chef," through his restaurant "Adrift Burger Bar," and Armenian-American chef Geoffrey Zakarian, who will unveil his vision for a grand café with the concepts "The National Bar" and "Dining Rooms."

Health and lifestyle expert Matthew Kenney will impress visitors with flavors and dishes from America, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East, while chef Mori Sako will offer a delicious mix of African and Japanese cuisine using French cooking techniques. New food concepts present at the event include the British concept "Bread Ahead," specializing in gluten-free cakes and sourdough baked goods, the Lebanese restaurant "Al Baron," and the restaurant "Kojaki," which combines Japanese and Korean cuisines in popular dishes.

Local Restaurants

The local restaurants participating in "Expo 2020 Dubai" feature a diversity that spans from India to Ireland, including local brands such as "Arabian Tea House," "Al-Farwaniyah," the seafood cafeteria "Maharet Al-Bahar," the Filipino restaurant "Dampa Seafood Grill," Lebanese bakery "Al-Reef," "Al-Khabbaz," "Firas Pastries," Italian restaurant "Bosola," Pakistani restaurant "Ravi," Irish restaurant "Irish Village," and several of the Samadi restaurants, such as "Hummus Spot," "Rogue Coffee," and "Twisty Treats."
