His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, affirmed that the youth of the nation are the winning bet for the future and that the UAE leadership trusts in their ability to contribute, overcome challenges, and continue the path of construction.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum tweeted: "On International Youth Day, we say to the youth of the UAE... the future is in your hands... and our country is a trust in your care... the UAE will remain the haven for your dreams and ambitions... and the greatest platform to unleash your potential."
He also wrote on Instagram: "The youth of the UAE, with you, we win the bet, and you are our hope and future." He accompanied his message with poetic verses that said:
"Welcome, O youth who win the bet,
You are our hoped-for hope and our nation’s treasure.
I was once young like you, and I saw,
A dream I dreamed every day, wishing for it."
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also tweeted on this occasion: "On International Youth Day... we take pride in and cherish our children, and we trust in the youth's ability to contribute, innovate, overcome challenges, and continue our journey towards a more advanced and brighter future for the upcoming generations."
