"Rashash" Star Mohammed Al-Qass Receives Saudi Citizenship

Mohammed Al-Qass, the star of the series "Rashash" who played the role of "Major Badr," announced that he has received Saudi citizenship. Al-Qass expressed his gratitude on his Twitter account, stating: "I extend my highest thanks and appreciation to my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to my inspiring and visionary Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for honoring and granting me Saudi citizenship. I pledge to God that I will serve my religion, my king, and my country." He added: "After praising and thanking God first and foremost for the great blessing of Saudi Arabia, carrying this great citizenship is a duty before it is a privilege and honor. I ask God to help me fulfill its responsibilities."

**Who is Mohammed Al-Qass?**

Mohammed Al-Qass is a Syrian actor, born in Homs in 1977, who lived in Saudi Arabia where he began his artistic career. He started in the Cultural Arts Association in Riyadh, performing in many plays before joining television drama and featuring in numerous famous series.

**His Artistic Journey**

He began his acting career in the Riyadh Cultural and Arts Association, presenting several plays, including "The Senegalese," "The Naked Truth," and "The Crown." In 2004, he was one of the cast members chosen by director Thamer Al-Seyhan to play several roles in a series of shows featured on the Arabic Internet channel, including the TV series "Why Me?". Subsequently, he starred in the television series "The Predicament," marking his television breakthrough. He participated in five seasons of the series "Ghashmashm" for five years until 2010. Between 2004-2010, he starred in series produced by the MBC channel, including "Mufrih's Channel," featuring Hassan Assiri and Faiz Al-Malki. In 2009, he starred alongside actors Habib Habib, Mishal Al-Mutairi, and Asad Al-Zahrani in the successful series "Um Al-Hal," which aired on MBC during the peak of Ramadan.

In the same year, he portrayed two main characters, Um Dheeb and Abu Dasa, and also participated with actor Andrei Skaf, actor Hossam Tahseen Bek, and actress Lilia Al-Atrash in the series "Bani Jan." In 2010, he starred in a comedy series entitled "Komedo," showcasing social issues in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. Critics note that actor Mohammed Al-Qass masters most Arabic dialects, including those from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, and Palestine.

The series "Um Al-Hala 1" marked his true breakthrough on television, and his comedic role in the 2012 television series "The Night Shift" further established his career. In early 2013, he appeared in the Turkish film "Spider Web," an action and horror film released in early 2014.
