Shocking Message from Riham Said: I’m Near Death and Won’t Forgive Those!

In a shocking message, Egyptian media personality Riham Said announced she is close to death and confirmed her retirement from social media, specifically naming individuals she will not forgive for having wronged her, as she expressed. The controversial presenter shared a lengthy message with her followers on Facebook, stating: “I feel like I’m going to die soon, so I will stay away from social media to spend more time with my children, especially my young son. It could be magic, depression, or it could be real.”

She also expressed her feelings of injustice throughout her media career, considering this sensation to be slowly killing her. She recounted moments when she faced injustice, such as the “fox incident,” which involved animal torture, and the “obesity treatment campaign,” asserting that she is "hurt and unable to speak." She stated, “You are unjust, walking on a word without seeing or understanding.”

Furthermore, Said confirmed she would not forgive anyone who wronged her, saying, “If I die, I won’t forgive anyone who said one untrue word about me or any journalist who wrote a word unjustly.” The Egyptian presenter named several individuals in journalism and the arts whom she will not forgive after her death, accusing them of causing "ruin to her home and the loss of years of her hard work."

She added, “Because I’m not on screen, I have no value, and how bad people can be.” She also talked about her desire to achieve her acting dream she pursued some time ago, adding in her post: “I spoke to many people to help me realize my dream of acting; I don’t want to tell you the response, and there are many people whom I supported.”

She concluded, saying, “I’m sorry I succeeded... I’m sorry I wanted everyone to do good... I’m sorry I didn’t build relationships that support me inside and outside Egypt.” She confirmed that she retired of her own will, saying, “I retired by my choice and will leave social media by my choice... but I won’t leave my rights.”

Notably, the Egyptian presenter announced in July 2021 her retirement from media as a program host to focus on her artistic works as an actress after facing many problems due to her programs, leading to several judicial rulings against her after her show “Sabayya Al-Khayr” was suspended multiple times. This came after she faced significant backlash at the end of last year due to an episode of “Sabayya Al-Khayr” that aired after a two-year hiatus, which addressed “hunting animals” and included the beating and torture of a young fox.

Her program was previously suspended for a year in August 2019 after mocking individuals with obesity. Three years ago, a ruling was issued against her for inciting the kidnapping of children during an episode of her show about the phenomenon, during which the producers of the program conspired with others to abduct children. Two years before that, the Giza Misdemeanor Court sentenced the presenter to six months in prison and fined her 10,000 Egyptian pounds for defamation against what was publicly known in Egypt as the "Mall Girl" incident.
