Real Madrid Threatens Mbappé with Signing Haaland

Reports have revealed that Spanish club Real Madrid has warned French forward Kylian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain that if he fails to respect their unofficial agreement and ends up renewing his contract with PSG, Real Madrid will forget about him forever and will pursue signing Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund instead.

The English newspaper "The Times" reported that Real Madrid intends to inform Mbappé about this situation. Additionally, reports indicate that Real Madrid has reached a preliminary agreement with Norwegian star Erling Haaland to join the club during the upcoming summer transfer window to strengthen the royal team's offense.

According to the German newspaper "Bild," Real Madrid officials met with Haaland in the French principality of Monaco, attended by the player's father and agent Mino Raiola, and reached a favorable agreement with the player, which means he will not consider offers from other clubs for the time being.

The newspaper added that the royal club is very close to signing the Norwegian star, especially since they have an agreement with Borussia Dortmund's management regarding the signing of their striker next summer.

It was mentioned that Real Madrid had considered delaying the signing of Haaland until summer 2023; however, the increasing interest from major European clubs in acquiring him prompted the Madrid officials to abandon this idea for fear of losing the deal.

Real Madrid aims to strengthen their attack by signing Haaland, especially given the advancing age of their French star Karim Benzema and the failure of Serbian Luka Jovic to shine in the team. The 21-year-old striker is a target for many European football giants, including Spanish club Barcelona, English club Manchester City, and French club Paris Saint-Germain.
