Cuba Drowned in Darkness... What’s the Reason?

Cuba was plunged into darkness on Tuesday evening after Hurricane Ian caused severe damage to the electrical grid, resulting in a total power outage across the island. The state electricity company "Unidad Eléctrica" stated on Twitter that the country is "without electricity service," noting that this power outage is due to the damages caused by Hurricane Ian, which is a Category 3 hurricane that swept through the western part of the island without claiming any lives before continuing its path toward the state of Florida, USA.
