Earthquake Hits Mersin, Turkey at 4.6 Magnitude

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 struck the Gulf of the Turkish city of Mersin in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday evening. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 16.4 km. It was also noted that the earthquake affected the district of Korkuteli in Mersin Province.
