Meta has decided to discontinue support for a smart feature that allows articles to load faster, known as "Instant Articles," which was made available for mobile apps since 2015. Reports indicate that the feature helps load news articles on mobile devices at a rate more than 4.9 times faster than the regular web browser on an iPhone or Android. However, according to Axios, this feature will be phased out by mid-April. Meta, owned by Mark Zuckerberg and the parent company of Facebook, stated that the reason for this move is the insufficient usage of this option.
