A military force thwarted a human smuggling operation at the beach of the town of Shkka and detained 55 individuals of Lebanese, Syrian, and Iraqi nationalities. A patrol from the intelligence directorate also arrested a citizen (H.T.), the owner of the boat used in the operation, as well as two other citizens (K.T.) and (A.T.) involved in it.
