The president of the Syndicate of Food Importers, Hani Baaklini, pointed out that "they have not yet received any lists of the items that may be exempt from customs duties or the items that will incur a 10 percent increase." He noted in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" that "the inflation rate will rise by between 10 and 10 percent on some items, in addition to the 10 percent on locally manufactured goods."
