Politico: China Supplied Russia with Weapons Under the Guise of "Civilian Equipment"

The American newspaper "Politico" reported that it has obtained customs and trade data proving that China provided Russian companies with equipment that can be used in the war with Ukraine. The newspaper added that Chinese companies sent 1,000 Chinese-made CQ-A assault rifles and bulletproof vests, in addition to 12 shipments of drone parts to Russian companies. According to the trade and customs data obtained by the newspaper, the shipment of the rifles was labeled as "civilian hunting equipment" during the period between June and December 2022.
