Units from the private military company Wagner have taken control of the eastern part of Bakhmut, according to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner military group. In an audio recording on Telegram on Wednesday, Prigozhin announced that "everything east of the Bakhmutka River is completely under Wagner's control."
