First Plant for Plant-Based Meat in Dubai

Dubai has witnessed the opening of the first plant of its kind for the production of 100% plant-based meat in the Middle East under the brand "Thrive." The plant, which is located in Dubai Industrial City, part of the Tecom Group, contributes to paving the way for the development of production and consumption of this category of food products in the UAE and the region as a whole. According to the Emirati News Agency, the launch of the new plant is part of Dubai's food security strategy aimed at enhancing local production, food safety, nutrition systems, and addressing crises.
