Mikati to Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Najib Mikati is preparing to head to Riyadh following the presidential election session tomorrow, in response to the Saudi invitation to participate in the Chinese-Arab summit alongside Saudi officials and several senior Arab officials and friends of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delegation accompanying Mikati includes Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib, Minister of Industry George Bouchikian, and several advisors.

Informed sources regarding the arrangements for the visit told "Al-Jumhuriya" that none of the activities or meetings planned have been determined yet, and communications are awaiting the arrival of the delegation in the Kingdom to finalize some important appointments at the level of Saudi leadership, as well as other meetings with guests from other countries attending the summit.

The "Saudi Press Agency" reported yesterday that more than 20 agreements worth over 110 billion riyals, equivalent to about 29 billion U.S. dollars, will be signed during the summit, covering various aspects of commercial and industrial cooperation across different economic, financial, and developmental specialties, approaching the scale of major agreements that Saudi Arabia has made with several major countries.
