The Saudi Cabinet amended Article 8 of the Citizenship Law, allowing citizenship to be granted by a decision of the Prime Minister based on a proposal from the Minister of Interior. This decision will take effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette. Citizenship will be granted by order of the Prime Minister based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior.
