As the vacuum persists and the series of electoral sessions continues, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has granted a grace period until the end of the year for the election of a president, considering that everyone will realize the scale of the disaster and ultimately agree on a consensus president. He stated that he will not remain idle after the end of the current year. For his part, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, outlined the qualities required in the president that the party desires: "reassuring to the resistance and not trembling in front of the Americans." In this context, a media source close to Hezbollah indicated that the current composition of Parliament does not allow for a resolution on the presidential file, predicting that the vacuum in the presidency will continue until next summer.
