Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call today with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss bilateral relations and security issues in the South Caucasus.
The Kremlin's press service stated that the Russian president and his Azerbaijani counterpart exchanged views on the development of transportation, logistics, and economic relations in the region.
The statement indicated that practical measures aimed at ensuring security and stability in the South Caucasus were discussed in line with the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
