New Exchange Rate in Syria

The Central Bank of Syria has set the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the US dollar at 7000 pounds per dollar in its remittance and exchange bulletin. According to bulletin number 15 issued by the bank, the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the euro is set at 7458.50 pounds per euro. In the previous bulletin, the exchange rate was 6950 pounds for the dollar and 7416.35 pounds for the euro. This bulletin is issued by the bank for the purpose of cash exchange and purchasing external remittances (both commercial and personal remittances, including those sent through international transfer networks).
