Swiss-Italian Gianni Infantino has been re-elected as the president of the International Football Federation "FIFA" until 2027 unopposed, due to the lack of candidates against him, during the federation's general assembly in Kigali on Thursday, March 16, 2023. He initially took office in 2016, succeeding his compatriot Sepp Blatter.
