The French ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, congratulated Lebanese women on the occasion of International Women's Day. Grillo tweeted from her official account, saying: "My message to all Lebanese women on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day."
She accompanied the tweet with a video, in which she stated: "I am convinced that change in this country will come through you; you have a special place to occupy in all areas, and a voice to be heard. Be assured that France remains by your side."
