The Ministry of Finance has sent a letter to caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati requesting the increase of the customs dollar from 15,000 to 45,000 LBP. MTV reported that imported goods priced in euros will have their customs dollar calculated at 48,200 LBP starting from Wednesday.
