Death Toll from Cyclone 'Freddy' Rises to 100

The Red Cross announced the discovery of the bodies of more than 100 people in Blantyre, Malawi, who were killed by Cyclone "Freddy," which has swept across southern Africa. The Red Cross, which is assisting in search and rescue operations, reported: "66 people have died in Malawi, 93 have been injured, and 16 are missing due to Tropical Cyclone Freddy." As of Monday, March 13, over 2,115 people have been affected. The Malawi government has confirmed this through the Disaster Department. The Malawi Red Cross is conducting search and rescue, first aid, and hospital evacuations.
