Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the agreement allowing the export of Ukrainian grain through Black Sea ports has been extended, which was set to expire today, Saturday; however, he did not disclose the duration of the extension. In a speech given in Çanakkale in the west of the country, Erdoğan stated, "The grain corridor agreement expires today. As a result of our discussions with both sides, an agreement was reached to extend this agreement." Russia had previously requested a 60-day extension, which is half the duration of the previous renewal, while Ukraine insisted on a 120-day renewal.
