A massive fire broke out in the historical town of Überlingen in southwestern Germany, resulting in severe damage to several buildings, with total damages estimated at around two million euros, officials told the German news agency "dpa." The police stated that the flames started on the roof of a building in the town's center for reasons that are still under investigation, before spreading to nearby structures. Überlingen, which has a population of 22,000, is located on the northern shore of Lake Constance.
