G7 Accuses the Security Council of Inaction on North Korea's Missile Tests

On Sunday, the foreign ministers of the G7 nations expressed regret over the UN Security Council's inaction regarding North Korea's missile tests. They mentioned a "hurdle" posed by some member states of the Security Council. Although they did not name these countries, China and Russia have blocked recent attempts to take stronger actions in response to North Korea. The group condemned North Korea's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile on March 16, stating that this act "undermines regional and international peace and security."
