UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric confirmed today, Wednesday, that "UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will hold a closed meeting with envoys from several countries regarding Afghanistan in Doha on May 1 and 2." Dujarric stated that "the purpose of the meeting is to reinvigorate international communication on shared goals for a strong way forward concerning the situation in Afghanistan."
