Sweden and Finland Discuss NATO Membership with Turkey

The chief Swedish negotiator in the NATO accession process indicated that Turkey acknowledged that Sweden and Finland have taken concrete steps to address its concerns regarding their efforts to join the alliance, and that the three countries will hold further meetings. Chief negotiator Oscar Stenström stated after the trilateral talks, "We see that Turkey has recognized that Sweden and Finland have taken concrete steps in this agreement, which is a good sign."
