Clashes have renewed between Israeli police and worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Employees from the Jerusalem Waqf and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs reported that "the Israeli police stormed the mosque compound and attempted to disperse the worshippers using sound bombs and rubber bullets." Following this, thousands of Palestinians marched within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, protesting the renewed incursions by Israeli forces. Eyewitnesses stated that "the worshippers responded by throwing stones at the police."
