UAE's Stance on Iran

The Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, during his meeting with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, in Dubai, affirmed that his country’s principled policy is based on not allowing a third state to cause division or use its territory against Iran. The Iranian news agency "IRNA" reported bin Rashid stating that the UAE is utilizing all its resources to address the problems of Iranian citizens and institutions in Dubai. For his part, Shamkhani considered the UAE to be an active player in the economic and trade developments in the region and pointed out that the Iranian government is focused on neighboring countries and is determined to overcome obstacles to strengthen relations among the countries in the region.
