Indonesia's President Responds After Losing World Cup Hosting Rights

Indonesian President Joko Widodo expressed today, Thursday, that he is "frustrated and saddened" by FIFA's decision to withdraw Indonesia's hosting rights for the U-20 World Cup. However, he emphasized the importance of respecting the decision. In a video, he mentioned that he has instructed the Indonesian Football Association president to work on avoiding FIFA sanctions regarding this issue, following a governor in the country refusing to host the Israeli team.
