The Ministry of Public Works and Transport plays an active role in the oil and gas exploration file in Lebanon through: the sea and the movement of ships to and from the platforms, the land and the spaces needed by exploration companies at the port for storage and support operations, and the air and the designated spaces at the airport for the takeoff and landing of helicopters, as announced by the Minister of Public Works in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, via his "Twitter" account.
