Message from Bassil to Mikati Before His Trip to the Vatican

The head of the Strong Lebanon bloc, MP Gebran Bassil, wished that caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati would sign 565 decrees for the restoration of nationality all at once instead of engaging in political blackmail. In a series of tweets on Twitter, Bassil stated that citizenship is a right for these individuals. He added that the decrees are merely declarative; it is their right under the nationality restoration law. "We don't know any of them, and their number does not change the demographics of the country. He can sign without sectarianism!
