Extension of the Deadline for Customs Violations on Mobile Phones

The office of the Minister of Communications, Engineer Johnny Al-Qarm, has received inquiries from subscribers holding mobile lines, whether fixed or prepaid, whose lines have been suspended due to non-payment of customs fees for their mobile phones. Therefore, Minister Al-Qarm’s office would like to announce that the Ministry of Communications has extended the deadline by an additional week due to the holidays. The office clarifies that holders of these phones can reactivate their lines on the network starting from 2 AM on Monday by turning off their devices and then restarting them, provided that the customs fees are paid afterward. The Minister of Communications’ office invites holders of the violating phones to settle their dues through "Liban Post," as this system fights smuggling while also protecting the treasury's rights, which has previously lost a significant amount of money.
