After Their Escape from Prison.. This Was Their Fate

Three out of four prisoners were shot and killed at the central prison in the capital Nouakchott during a shootout with security forces during their escape attempt, while the fourth was arrested, according to Mauritanian authorities. The ministries of defense and interior confirmed in a joint statement that as a result of gunfire during a search operation carried out by the army and anti-terrorism forces, three out of the four escapees and one officer were killed.
